Foreign Employees

The public hospital system in Norway was organized into five regional and 50 local health enterprises as of 01.01.2002. Helse Bergen HF is one of five local enterprises owned by the Helse Vest region.

The hospital has considerable interests in research and development and has extensive international collaboration. Haukeland University Hospital has several Centers of Competence and is responsible for special functions on regional and national levels.

The hospital employs health personnel from many foreign countries. You are most welcome to apply for advertised positions on this web site. However, you should be aware that in order to qualify for a position you must have Norwegian authorization/a temporary license and have good Norwegian language skills.
