Study on treatment of cognitive late effects after cancer
Common late effects after cancer are memory and attention difficulties. At Forhelse, we are now seeking participants to evaluate two different treatment programs for cognitive late effects.

About the project
Forhelse is now seeking participants to evaluate two different treatment programs for cognitive late effects.
1. Digital program for cognitive late effects
2. Brain teaser tasks with pen and paper (crosswords, sudoku).
The programs last 6 weeks. Participants can live anywhere in Norway.
Recruitment
To determine whether the treatments are useful, we will recruit 60 people who have undergone cancer treatment and are experiencing cognitive difficulties in the spring of 2025. We will follow the participants up for up to 2 years.
To participate, you must:
Have cognitive difficulties that affect you in daily life.
Be between 18-65 years of age.
Have had a cancer diagnosis and received cancer treatment.
Have been cured of cancer for at least 6 months.
Be able to speak and write Norwegian well.
Have access to the internet.
You cannot:
Have neurological disorders (e.g. ADHD, autism, dementia) or brain injuries.
Been diagnosed with serious mental illnesses such as bipolar disorder, psychosis or substance abuse.
Be depressed.
