What is right and what is wrong in digital home monitoring?
The Norwegian Centre for E-health Research has a webinar series on digital home monitoring. In the latest episode, Trond Røed Pettersen and Leonora Bergsjø from eHjerteRehab participated, and the topic of the webinar was digital ethics in home monitoring.
Within digital home monitoring, there has long been a focus on effective and functional digital solutions, and less focus on the ethical aspects. How can we ensure that the solutions are ethically sound?
Leonora Bergsjø and Trond Røed Pettersen illuminated the topic in a webinar on digital ethics. As an example of ethical home monitoring, eHjerteRehab was used.
eHjerteRehab is a project under development and testing, and it is a digital cardiac rehabilitation program for patients who have undergone angioplasty of the coronary arteries. Bergsjø leads the ethics work package in the project, while Pettersen is the project coordinator.
