Basic/refresher course for seafarers doctor 25.-27. March 2025

The course is offered to seafarer’s doctors practising outside of Norway. This course is a combination of the previous basic and refresher courses and meets the requirements of the Regulations that entered into force on 1 July 2014.

In accordance with the Regulations of 5 June 2014 No. 805 on the medical examination of employees on Norwegian ships and mobile offshore units, Section 7, prior to approval by the Norwegian Maritime Authority (NMA), a seafarer’s doctor must successfully complete an approved course in maritime medicine. These courses are provided by the Norwegian Centre of Maritime and Diving Medicine on behalf of the NMA.

The course will be arranged in Panama the 25th  to the 27th  of March 2025.  Place of venu will be anounced as soon as details are in place
