About us

The management of the Centre consists of Professor Kjell-Morten Myhr, Professor Charalampos Tzoulis and Dr. Yamila Torres Cleuren, together with a small administration. Project owner and host institution for the Centre is Haukeland University Hospital (HUH), while the work at the Centre – both in terms of economy and research – is divided between HUH and the University of Bergen (UiB).

Neuro-SysMed is a Norwegian Centre of Excellence for Clinical Treatment Research, focusing on four neurological diseases: multiple sclerosis (MS), Parkinson’s disease (PD), amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), and dementia disorders, including Alzheimer’s disease and dementia with Lewy bodies.
