We want to use computational pathology to realize two aims related to cancer diagnostics:

  • ​To train, test, validate and implement computer-aided analyses of important biomarkers
  • To automatically classify pathological lesions​​​

Work package 1: Ki-67 in neuroendocrine tumours of the gastrointestinal tract

The number of Ki-67 positive tumour cells is a measure for how fast a tumour is growing. We use artificial intelligence to precisely count positive tumour cells.
